NL Williams Group was contracted by Aberdeenshire Council to replace the existing surface on the Meiklemill Footbridge in Ellon, Aberdeen. Constructed using only timber, the bridge spans 55.00m and complements its stunning surroundings, which is an attraction to many visitors. Permadeck systems manufactured Permadeck panels which provide a robust anti-slip surface, with it’s pedestrian grade aggregate. All of the panels were made to the dimensions and colour required. The panels were transported along with a team of highly trained operatives. The panels were installed over 3 days and Aberdeenshire council were pleased with the outcome of the project.
