The newly fabricated Hampden street footbridge has now been fully renovated to cater for the disabled and elderly. Under the DDA act of 2010, any form of transport and infrastructure should provide a reasonable level of access and services to ensure the protection of those who are at risk.
NL Williams Group is proud to be involved with the completion of this project and will continue to deliver excellent products and services to clients across the UK. As agreed with the client, the bridge was given an N1 protective coating system with a grey coloured framework and a yellow doublehand rail design. There are handrails either side of the staircase and double height parapets to ensure stability and easy access for people who cross this bridge daily.
