The Boswell Lane footbridge has been altered and converted into a DDA compliant structure. As the bridge has been subjected to large amounts of graffiti and damage, the existing coating system had to repair in order to increase its service life. The staircases and main span have been recoated in accordance with Network Rail’s M20 protective system both increasing its durability and returning it to a visually acceptable standard.
The bridge was also fitted with Permagrip Hazard Warning Tactile flooring, DDA Stairmaster Nosings and Permagrip PU Anti-slip surfacing.
